Nice to meet you...

Hi Readers:)

It is a pleasure to meet all blog readers out there and I hope this blog can add some value to your life in some small way:)

Let me start by telling you why I started this blog, I have been going out with the love of my life for well over a year now, her name is Candice and we love going on holiday together and traveling to new places and experiencing things, we basically love to LIVE!!!! I recently decided to spoil my lady with a romantic trip away and realised that there are no great resources to find out about great places to go away for short romantic getaways and other useful romantic stuff.... And I'm not talking about this restaurant is great for dinner and this place is romantic to go away for the night, I'm talking about romantic specifics and details that are important to the hopeless romantics out there. I am talking about which table is the best to have dinner at a specific restaurant that gives you privacy and which place is the best for a romantic getaway cause in certain rooms you can sit on the balcony and watch a beautiful sunset or have spa baths, etc.

Haha, I'm sure you get the idea now. So, on one of our recent trips I chatted to Candice about this idea I had and she, being the amazing girlfriend she is, supported me without hesitation, gave me the best ideas and between the two of us, the idea of 'The Jo'burg Romantic' was born. This blog will give you ideas for the right tables to sit at when eating out and which places are really romantic and which rooms are the best and even better than that, what extras to ask for when going to the hotel. Unfortunately, the information will only pertain to restaurants and getaways for johannesburg, South Africa residents but if you not from Jo'burg then I think you start planning a trip soon and spoil that loved one:)

Candice and I will be testing and sampling the best romance that Jo'burg has to offer and we will be letting you know all about it!!!! So, later this week I will post my first romantic idea for Jo'burg, enjoy, and as they say, feedback is the breakfast of champions so please don't be shy to give me your input, let me know what you have experienced and any other ideas you might have to make this blog more useful in any way possible.
